Main Responsibilities
To support talent development in the banking industry, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has initiated a Banking Talent Programme ('the Programme') and CCB (Asia) is one of the participating banks. Under the Programme, the bank will offer short-term work opportunities to fresh undergraduates from local universities in 2020. The employment is planned to commence from September 2020 for a period of six months, during which centralised training, internal training and professional training will be provided to the successful candidates. Candidates will be allocated to one of the divisions in CCBA and a mentor will be assigned for each employee. The detailed job duties will be subject to the needs of respective division.
- Participate in business projects in collaboration with different divisions within CCBA (e.g. FATCA/CRS Project, Fintech related project, PB Compliance-related projects etc.)
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to launch different projects that meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing business documents, research materials and reports for projects assigned
- Attend meeting and prepare PowerPoint for projects assigned
- Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents as required
- Perform ad-hoc duties

Requirements
- Fresh undergraduate from local university with academic merit
- Possession of excellent presentation skills, leadership ability and participation in extra-curricular activities and community services
- Enthusiasm in business studies and desire for a career in the financial sector
- Ability to read and write Chinese
- Fluency in Cantonese and English as a must while Putonghua as an asset
